The good software’s come with clear instructions as to how you can setup the software on your computer and will also provide you with support over email.

Cost of Satellite TV

You will be surprised to hear that there are absolutely no monthly costs on Satellite TV. The only cost involved is the onetime payment for the Satellite TV software which works to around 50$ in most cases. Even if new channels are added to your package over the course of time you still are not required to pay any additional money, doesn’t that make this a great deal?

Satellite TV v/s Conventional TV

The Software receives free to air TV feeds hence all the channels you watch will be absolutely free. Besides you can watch nearly 3000 channels from around 80 countries compared to a maximum of 700 channels on conventional TV with a monthly fee and an installation cost. You will also be able to watch several channels that you wouldn’t be able to watch even if you paid your cable TV provided for them. These are the key reasons that satellite TV is a great hit.

Unlike conventional TV methods satellite TV for your computer does not need any installation or equipment apart from your computer or laptop and a good internet connection.. To watch Satellite TV on PC a good internet connection, at-least a broadband is a must.

The satellite TV software’s have also been given a lot of thought to keep them as close to the conventional TV functioning methods making it really easy to navigate and find your favorite shows.

Compared to conventional TV, satellite TV Software on a computer scores much higher on cost, ease of installation, ease of use, number of countries that you can receive channels from, number of channels and mobility (if you have a laptop).

8 ways to speed up your computer

One of the common things I keep hearing on blogs and forums is my computer is slow, damn slow computer, please help my computer, etc.

So here are 8 simple ways you can use to speed up computer at no cost:
  1. Windows Settings for Performance, Optimize windows settings for performance over appearance, windows is generally set up by default for better appearance then performance, this can easily be change in the windows settings.
  2. Uninstall programs you don't use, certainly over time we keep installing different software on our computer that we stop using at a later time. These software keep cluttering the computer RAM, Hard drive and Registry slowing the computer. Uninstall these programs and that will surely make a difference to your computers performance.
  3. Remove unnecessary Start up Programs, nowadays all programs install themselves in the start up, these programs are loaded when windows starts up. If you have too many programs in the Windows start up then your computer will take really long to boot. Remove unnecessary start up programs and leave only those programs you want to load up during windows start up.
  4. Don't Clutter your Desktop, Nowadays its become a standard habit to put all information on the desktop, desktop is an active area and gets loaded onto the RAM. Hence if you are adding too many files to the desktop then you are loading these files to your RAM reducing the total amount of RAM available for applications thus slowing down your computer. Do not clutter your desktop, instead store your files in a folder in the hard drive and have a shortcut to that folder on your desktop.
  5. Leave adequate space on the C Drive, Windows uses the C Drive to store files temporarily, hence if the space is limited then it becomes a bottleneck to windows and windows will have to cut down the size of the data chunks to the amount of space available, hence reducing the overall bandwidth of the computer, hence always leave 4-5 GB space available on the C Drive
  6. Defragment your Hard Drive, Over time the computer hard drive gets very fragmented making the data access cycle to be much longer. This will slow down your computer. Defragment your hard drive to speed up your computer.
  7. Cleanup Registry, The registry is the windows database to store all information about the computer and the software applications on the computer. When starting or using any application windows needs to access the registry to get information about the application, hence if the registry is not in good shape this will slow the computer. Use a registry cleaning tool to clean up your registry and speed up the computer.
  8. Prevent and Remove Trojans, Spyware and Malware, these are malicious software designed to get into your computer through the internet, backdoors and security loopholes and transmit data from your computer to their respective server, slowing down your computer. Prevent these softwares from entering your computer using the windows firewall and in-case they are already there on your computer then use a spyware removal to clean the malware.
